The Red Woman on Mars reached my publisher's B&N pre-order goal

I’ve just heard some great news from my publisher — The Red Woman on Mars has 50 Barnes & Noble pre-orders! This will help convince Barnes & Noble stores to carry copies of the book in-store. Thank you to everyone who has pre-ordered! I can’t wait for you to read it.

I’m about six weeks away from The Red Woman on Mars’s book launch on July 28. Local friends, please save the date for a launch at Dandelion Bookshop in Oak Park. You can also pre-order your copy there and pick it up at the launch.

This is one of my favorite times as an author. I’m starting to hear from early readers who loved the book, I got another great trade review (more to come there!), I’ve booked my first book club appearance, and I have finished copies of the book in my hands.

I’m headed to Door County, WI for a week with my family. I’m hoping to catch up on my huge stack of books to read at the beach. Thank you to all of you for your support on this wild writing journey. 💖
